Scripture: Ephesians 2:10 NLT—”We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”

My prayer: Father, what good things did You plan for me? Why am I not doing them? I hang back and dawdle my days away instead. You told my friend, “Write a book,” and he persevered despite incredible obstacles. I believe You want me also to write words that will lead others to You. Please rekindle that goal in me and fan the flame anew!

God’s whisper to my heart: Beloved, a young man once came to an old sage asking, “Should I write a book?” He was full of fear that he would never complete such an awesome endeavor. The sage’s response to the youngster was this: “Just blow on your hands.” In My power, you can write soul-changing words, one page at a time.

My response:  Lord Jesus, Master, in Your strength, with Your guidance, and for Your glory, I will write at least one page today.
